Tyson Foods operates in a food industry that grew from humble beginnings into a
company that operates across the world. Their company is a leading producer of chicken, beef
and pork. Many people don’t know that they also make a variety of prepared foods, such as pizza
toppings and crusts, tortillas and chips, deli meats, appetizers, soups sauces and side dishes.
Their products are sold to retailers and foodservice operators through the U.S. as well as about
130 countries. Their major competitor is Pilgrim’s Pride which is the largest chicken producer in
the United States. Tyson Foods operate both domestically and internationally. They have sale
