In a survey conducted by Hinge Research Institute, over 500 professional businesses were
asked how they are implementing accounting marketing solutions to address their business
challenges. These same professional services also came up with solutions and a better plan
to prioritize each challenge they may face. Amongst this survey, only 17% of responders
were accountants while the majority were simply decision makers of that particular firm.
Lee Frederiksen informs readers that “with the arrival of a fresh year, your accounting firm
is likely preparing and strategizing for the business challenges you expect to face in 2015
(1 Frederiksen)”. Although many businesses have different challenges, most surveyed
professional services had some of the same challenges and ideas.
The biggest challenge of 2015 is “attracting and developing new businesses”. As a
company, you must find different resources and ways to attract new businesses and

was, finding and keeping good people around. In maintaining a productive business, you
must have a strong team in order to execute. It could be challenging finding a great leader
and someone who can display great leadership skills with dealing with issues and/or
problems. Another major challenge is the technology issues that may occur during the year.
Now and days, everything is done through technology. Many companies depend on
