Accounting CPA or Firm?
An accountant is measures, possesses and communicates with the financial information
about any businesses. Working by yourself, or working with other people in an office, which do
you prefer? Being good at math is something that all accounts have in common. Some accounts
do prefer working by themselves as a CPA, which is a Certified Public Account. Others like
working in a firms like H&R block. Whether you choose to be a CPA or work in an accounting
firm they both have their similarities and differences.

firms and CPA’s are different. Big and small accounting firms along with being a CPA. Whether
you work in a firm or on your own as a CPA there are greatly amount of benefits and rewards as
both. The lowest accounting job you can find pays anywhere from $50,000 to $60,000 per year.
An accountant salary will grow as they gain experience. The max you can make as an accountant
is anywhere from $100,000 to $200,000 per year (Advantages of Accounting Careers, 1). Many
accounts after being with a firm for a long time they go on their own as a CPA.
Some of the people think that being a CPA, because your self employed you is a benefit
on its own. While being self-employed you have a flexible schedule, along with having control
over what clients you want to work with. The benefits of being any accountant are that even
when the economy is bad “accounting careers are versatile. Businesses, government, nonprofits,
and other organizations will always need to prepare and verify financial statements, so they will
need to hire accountants. Although job security at one particular firm may fluctuate, job security
for accounting careers in general is high” (Advantages of Accounting Careers, 1). Other perks of
being in accounting careers is that you gain so much knowledge about the business world.
