In my opinion, one of the worst judges in the book of Judges is Abimelech. I think
that he is one of the worst judges because he killed all of his brothers except one. This
shows that power can get to a person and make them do crazy things. I could never
imagine killing my brother just to have power. The other that I think is the worst would
be the Benjamins. I think these men are bad because of the sins they committed
sexually. This is one of the things that bothers me the most when it comes to stories of
having power. This is the worst way possible to try to receive power.
At the end of the book of Judges we are told a story of the Benjamin’s not being
able to fine wives. Although they were unable to find wives because of a result of their
own actions they did not see this to be fair. Fathers did not allow their daughters to
marry these men because they had committed rape and all kinds of sexual abuses. For
