About the Author
James C. Hunter is principal consultant of J. D. Hunter Associates, a labor relations and training
consulting firm located near Detroit. He is a sought-after public speaker and trainer primarily in
the areas of servant leadership and community (team) building. He has written books such as The
Servant: A Simple Story about the True Essence of Leadership and The World’s Most Powerful
Leadership Principle: How to Become a Servant Leader. James C. Hunter is born on June 26,
1955 in Detroit, The United States. Backed in the years of professional experience, Hunter, and
consultant, also became instructor and lecturer, mainly in the functional area of leadership and
organization of community groups (1985). Currently, he lives in Michigan with his wife and
