A New Dawn for Days Passed
Colonel Sartoris went on down the hill, into the dark woods which called onto his rapid
beating heart by the voices of the birds. The late spring night that has come of his father’s
troubles and barn burning will no longer trouble little, fragile Sarty. Walking alone and amongst
those who have little to no information on the boy; Sarty finds himself in a small town by the
name of, “Jefferson.”
