James Kirby Martin is the author to the article “A ‘Most Undisciplined, Profligate Crew”
which he presented in a chronologically order to show us how this situation develop out. Officers
created a protest influencing if the government had forgot about their principles that governed
the cause.
This protest caused for the officers send a message but an unclear message about either
they really wanted luxurious things, or they really needed improvement in their basic needs such
as food and clothes. This all happened in a time where the United States of America was barely
coming about and forming, because not all what figured out and was still learning to walk
without England’s control or assistance. During this time the officers protest became noticeable
