Why Cigna Is Sending this Notice to You
The US Department of Labor requires sponsors of certain employee benefit plans to send
information annually about the plan, fees and investment options to those eligible for the
plan. The plans covered by the requirement are ERISA retirement plans, like the Cigna
401(k) Plan (Plan), which allow participants to make their own investment decisions.
What the Notice Contains
The notice includes:
• General Plan Information (Part I)
• Investment Performance Information as of 3/31/2015 (Part II)
• Fee and Expense Information (Part III)
• Instructions on where to get more information about the Plan and its investment options

Most of the information in the notice is also available to you in other places, such as the
Prudential Retirement website listed in the notice and the Cigna 401(k) Plan Summary
Plan Description (“SPD”) and the Cigna 401(k) Plan Prospectus (“Prospectus”).
If you are enrolled in the Plan, you have the right to direct how money in your Plan
account is invested. As you review the notice, you should think about your retirement
income needs, your long-term investment goals, and tolerance for risk. Please remember
that all investments carry some level of risk and most investments will fluctuate in value as
market conditions change. You should therefore, consider the benefits of a well-balanced
and diversified portfolio.
