Looking back to the first day of classes, I remember that my expectations about the
learning outcome of this class were low, and my hesitation to be part of this class was high.
However, I have learned widely about different theories, and came upon different learning
curves where I started to know more about how to communicate with different people in
different situations especially with my cultural differences. I have also learned about how I
perceive myself and how others perceive me, and most of all how much I need to know
more about myself.
First Impressions
Within my service team – which was Nicole, Winnie, Carlo, and I – we haven’t had much
of a conflict or cross roads, as well as between me and my other classmates. I think this is

personality.

the African American Shakespeare Company, worked really hard to make her company
where it is right now. Before I came to US, I got most of my knowledge about the
American culture from arts, such as movies, but I also started to know more about plays
after this experience. I always felt that arts tells the story and values of the society, and it
shows the culture in a touching way. Surely, the African American Shakespeare Company
came a long way to tell the stories, ambitions, and dreams of their own society. However,
and due to the Bay Area’s reputation as a concourse point for technical corporations, home
