A Doll’s House Theater Critique
A Doll’s House is a widely popular classic play written by the influential Norwegian
playwright Henrik Ibsen, who’s struggles for freedom in his life are represented by Nora’s, the
protagonist of this play. The production being critiqued was filmed at London’s notorious Young
Vic theater and is directed by Carrie Cracknell, with Nora’s role played by actress Hattie
Morahan – who exceptionally displays the character’s gradual transformation in her search for
freedom.
