Topic: – Personal Statement
Details: – I want to apply to a university as a radiographer, journalist or for
the degree of business administration (It depends on your expertise and
ease). I need a personal statement to enter the university and would like
to state as to why i want to become a radiographer/journalist or to pursue
a degree related to business.
PERSONAL STATEMENT
A Degree in Business is among several careers and job sectors which are successful in
maintaining their stability even during the period of recession. According to a recent
research, it has marked its presence for the next decade along 5 high growth career elds
that does not have strict educa!on requirements. Also seventy-six percent of employers
seeking to ll management posi!ons want their poten!al candidates to have a Bachelor’s
degree in Business Administra!on or Management.
Already being an ACCA student, (Associa!on of Cer! ed Chartered Accountants) I
found similarity in major areas of the two quali ca!on. Therefore I decided to pursue this
degree in order to not only expand my exis!ng knowledge but also add an addi!onal skill on
my CV.A degree in Business Administra!on will enable me to empower myself with the
knowledge about the world of business and commerce. Therefore it is a star!ng point for me
to acquire quali ca!ons in this eld with a Bachelor’s degree and then moving to more
advanced op!ons from thereon.
The course is bifurcated into di,erent elds of interest such as nance, Accoun!ng, Human
Resource Management and marke!ng. These set of skills will enhance my strategic thinking
along with communica!on, proac!ve thought and problem solving process. Therefore a
powerful combina!on of skill sets could also lead to a wide array of careers in Business
Administra!on eld.
