Crude oil, nonrenewable, yet one of the most sought-after things in the world. It used to
be abundant and cheap, now has and will continue to be a scarce and limited resource as time
continues. I never thought too deeply about how much oil is pulled from the earth nor how
much the world relies on its energy. But one thing is for certain, there will come a time where
there is no more oil.
There are around 8 billion people on earth who all use crude oil byproducts daily, and
because so many products use some form of crude oil in production, society has become
