A Conflicted Student’s Outlook
This class has surprised me on more than one level. I imagined this course going as well
as English 101, obtaining as much feedback as I have received in English 101, and learning as
much as I did in English 101. Instead, in English 102, I have written discussion after discussion
with different feedback, or no comments, and had little conversations in discussion with other
students. The students in this class discussed less with one another, but wrote stronger leading
discussion posts, than in my English 101 class. It would have been of more use for a better
