Summary
In the article “Why Does Sweden Have So Many StartUps”, studies made a claim that, if
a government spends more per capita per person, then, the less startup it will have per worker
because of the high taxes that reduce entrepreneur’s gains and incentives for launching new
firms. However, Sweden is doing quite well by creating new businesses and housing Global
companies such as Spotify, Klarna, and King despite the country having high taxes on the
citizens. Since 1990, Sweden’s economy has been accelerating, 2015 it recorded a 4 percent
economic growth and 3 percent in 2016. Its GDP has outshines many of the other European
countries since the 1990s. It has been using some economic tactics to get to this as discussed
below.
