After reading the article on 8 weeks at a time, I learn a lot about managing my own money.
First,I pay my attention to the track of money. I asked friends or classmates around me and
made a research on how many people does have a habit of tracking money. According to
the research, 90% of them do not write down the tracking of money, so they do not know
where their money are spent. Only 10% people have a habit of tracking money. In the
article, the writer refers to many aspects of managing money, the reason why I pay
attention to the tracking of money firstly is that I can understand the importance of it. Last
year is my first year in STFX University. I spent much money purchasing what I need and
want but I did not write down where every sum of money are spent. Finally , I found I had
not enough money to use but in fact my parents gave me enough money to live in Canada.
If I can write down the tracking of money and arrange appropriately my money, I make
sure that the money my parents provide is enough. So I start to track my money this year
and stick to do it. I believe it is effective .
Then, I pay attention to the credit. The article talks about credit repeatedly. According the
research on the Internet, I found that most people are willing to apply for credit cards.
