Breana Williams, M. Ed., School Counseling—Professional Disclosure Statement

As a School Counselor at Woolley Middle School, I provide counseling services to all students in grades 6-8,
most of those students whose last names beginning with A – M. There are other counselors on site that assist with
those students whose last name starts with N-Z. This professional disclosure statement gives insight to my
professional background and thoughts on counseling. This document is part of the standards of practice for Texas
Board of Education Coordinating Board.
Education:
– Bachelor of Science in Political Science and Sociology from Ouachita Baptist University-May 2013
– Master of Business Administration from Grand Canyon University-May 2015
– Master of School Counseling from Lamar University- May 2022
Experience:
• Mesquite Independent School District since August 2019
• Experience addressing a variety of concerns experienced by students that include but are not limited to:
• Improve students learning quality
• Improve student’s ability to manage emotions
• Help students understand their feelings
• Strengthen students support system in school and in the community
• Shape positive mindsets for learning
