Class Plan We’ve re-designed this course so that you can complete it [sort of] at your own
weekly pace by downloading the materials from D2L, completing the protocols, and
uploading the requested documents by the requested dates and times (see revised
schedule). We are trying to make helpful videos and directions, as well as being available to
answer questions using email and a video conferencing platform called Zoom. We thank you
for your patience and understanding as we are just as overwhelmed with this as you are. If
you are having trouble with adhering to due dates due to illness, being called into work at a
healthcare-related job, childcare, elderly care, etc., please let us know your situtation.
Class Time Interaction Plan – Your instructor will be available during your lab instruction time
using a conference call in a program called Zoom. Zoom sessions are not required, they are
for you to get the help you may need to complete the course. Zoom meeting details will be
posted on D2L. Since zoom limits the call time to 40 minutes, there will be 2 blocks for each
section. To ensure people have the support they need, the class will be divided into 2
groups. Your instructor will assign you to group A or group B. Group A will start when your
class time starts and last for 40 minutes. The second (group B) will start 20 minutes later
(which is 1 hour after the start of your original class time) and last for 40 minutes. Please
consider these times as help sessions for you to ask questions about protocols or
assignments and to complete your protocols. Dr. S-T will be making “walkthrough” videos
