Read through sections 2A and 2B in your book and answer the following questions.

2) Why do you think we need units when keeping track of real-life numbers?
It is important because it allows us to measure and keep track with important details like weight,
temperature, money, gas, etc, all of which are vital for humanity’s metric system to remain just.
