Abstract
Adults should be doing a minimum of two hours a thirty minutes of aerobic exercise at a
moderate level. Each activity should be done for at least ten minutes and spreading aerobic
activity out over three days is recommended. Adults need to work on doing strength exercises
such as push-ups, sit ups, or lifting weights for two days a week. Aerobics is sometimes known
as cardio that requires pumping of oxygenated blood by the heart to deliver oxygen to working
muscles. Specific equipment such as cardio machines may be used but it is not necessary for
successful results. Most individuals performing cardio are using it as a method to burn off excess
calories (Clark, 2018). Children and adolescents are often active in short bursts of time rather
than for sustained periods. Those who exercise regularly tend to have better control of their
