The Great Debaters
The Great debater is a movie that I will recommend because it can speak to African
American people. The movie took place in Marshall, Texas at Wiley College in the year of 1935.
It is about a debate coach name Melvin Tolson who motivated students to create a debate team.
The Great Debater portrays how to overcome adversities, shows dedication, and fight civil
injustices.
To start of my argument of this point The Great Debaters had overcome so much
