12 Years a Slave Movie Review
Solomon Northup was a respected, free man living in the North with his family when he
gets an offer to play violin at a circus. Looking for money, he takes the offer not knowing that it
would change his life forever. Instead of a circus, he is drugged and kidnapped by two men:
Abram Hamilton and Merrill Brown. He is beaten and put on a cart, eventually leading to a boat
