“10 Ways to Have a Better Conversation”
This world is polarized so ideologically due to the demise of interpersonal skills due to
digital communication. Celeste Headlee states the digital communication has compromised the
art of conversation.
After watching this TEDTalk, I would define conversational competence as the ability to
comprehend and create conversation based on a person’s knowledge of conversational
procedures, strategies, social context, speaker relations, and cultural practices.
