The question being proposed is if point nine repeating equals one. In basic math, learned
in elementary school, decimals were introduced as numbers between whole numbers that can be
added together to equal a whole number. Based on this knowledge I can see how one might think
that point nine repeating might think that there is a point one somewhere added to reach one. The
one thing that people miss is the REPEATING part of point nine repeating this means that this
nine continues forever. For me I believed that point nine repeating did not equal one because
