My Learnings
In this course of organizational behavior I learned mainly how to organize my employees in a company giving them a correct treatment and avoiding to fall into problems of aggression in the work, racism, favoritism or misunderstandings to look for personal objectives instead of the objectives of the company, to I will now discuss each of these issues in more detail.
The use of social networks:
The technological era, as was mentioned in the discussions, created a great difference in how things are seen and worked, as well as being a generational gap. The use of social networks like Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and Snapchat, allow to arrive in a massive way to the customers and to create a new market. The online sale has increased significantly as well as the treatment and service by instant messaging in case of problems, so it is important to know how to use this resource properly and order to get the most out of it.
Paradigms:
As Stephen Cove says: "Paradigms are powerful because they create the crystals or lenses through which we see the world. The paradigm is to be broken, it is of the utmost importance that the manager impels his employees to take risks and to break Paradigms the worst that can happen is to return to the starting point.
In terms of diversity, this should not be forced or seek to make our company the most diverse, we are currently dealing with the tendency of the "politically correct" where minorities are supported, and it is correct, however, it should not be affected Who does not belong to a minority.
Values as manager:
As a manager of a company it is important to be a leader with employees and a support, currently, companies look for someone who knows how to guide groups and that they feel identified, supported and motivated to achieve both corporate and personal goals.
These values are Honesty, Empathy, Passion, leadership, tolerance, companionship, among others.
The group develops its own purpose or mission
Generally, companies seek to achieve the goal and put everyone to work to achieve this goal, what many do not know is that it is simpler, more economical and rewarding for each group or department to propose their own objectives and to achieve them; Thus, as a whole, greater results are obtained than expected.
Problem Solving becomes a way of life, not a part-time activity.
Propose challenges in a constant way, quickens the mind and keeps the worker or operator awake making this problem solving a normal thing and the creativity is kept afloat in case of having a critical problem and difficult to solve.
Effectiveness is measured by the group's collective outcomes and products
Although it is proposed to work individually in a group, effectiveness or productivity is measured together, it is important to work as a team when someone can not do something or is difficult, it is possible to help or even advice who needs to.
PE Fit for an organization.
Social Media: No one can tell you things more effectively than a social network, as far as culture is concerned, social networks will tell you how people behave, their likes, passions and how they relate to their loved ones
Tests: I consider it indispensable to different types of tests from a prospect to an employee, from cognitive to psychological and action-reaction tests. The latter consists of answering how you would react to different situations, being able to evaluate the values and the degree of confidence that you could have to the employee.
In an interview I would ask about his previous experiences in his previous works or in the university, he would ask if he practices some sport or sport as a team besides if he practices some type of art.
Theory of Maslow: this theory is based on 5 basic needs that must be foreseen for the greater performance of the employees, if they feel satisfied, identified and loved by the company, then they will give everything for this one.
These 5 basic needs, explained in a simpler way, are
Psychological: Consists of having enough to be comfortable during work.
Safety: feel safe inside and around the premises.
Love: The need to feel important within the company.
Esteem: Have a good self-esteem and feel that you have a good prestige.
Self-actualization: The desire to excel and grow, knowing the innovations that exist.
